Pismo Beach City Council,
At your May 2 meeting re short term rentals, I would urge you to consider the Santa Monica ordinance which bans non-owner hosted short term rentals and has been reaffirmed by the Ninth circuit.
I believe the vast majority of your residents, if polled, would support a ban on short term rentals. Since you were elected to represent the residences of Pismo Beach, I believe it is incumbent on you to follow the Santa Monica approach and ban short term rentals.
