•Construction bid ready documents will take approximately 14 months to complete. •The traffic signal option will take approximately 6 months to construct. •The roundabout options will take approximately 12 months to complete. •All the alternatives will also require adjustments to Southern California Gas and PG&E facilities and possible private right of way coordination.
Staff Recommendations
•Receive Council feedback and recommendations for intersection design of traffic signal or roundabout design •Move forward with design of the project plans and specifications and preparation of the construction bid documents •Engage with project stakeholders and community advocates to incorporate additional pedestrian and bicycle improvements where possible •Continue Coordination with Environmental documents, and relocation of Gas Co and PG&E Facilities •Continue to pursue regional/outside funding with SLOCOG for funding sources for construction 12 Questions?
