I would like to encourage the Council to provide direction to staff to pursue establishing a new dog ark on the City owned property on Shell Breach Road at Beachcomber. This property is large enough to accommodate a dog park that can be divided to allow for a “small dog” section as well as a “large dog” section. It also has a small parking area already. Any utilities that would be required are readily available.
