I am writing this letter in support of the extension of the Rib Line By the Pier. LLC license agreement for the concession, Sunsets of Pismo. Not only does this establishment enhance the vintage look of the Pismo Pier but the owners, Krystal and Brian Appiano are committed and supportive members of the local business community. They have volunteered many hours to local nonprofits as well as serving their delicious food at City sponsored events. As your staff has recommended and concluded in their report: "The current use of the Airstreams on the Pier have been seen as a success and are enjoyed by residents and visitors alike. Each operator provides amenities to the various recreational activities experienced by those who enjoy Pismo Beach. Accordingly, staff recommends the City Council direct the execution of one‐year extensions of the existing License Agreements with Rib Line by the Beach, LLC and Sheldon’s Bait Shack, respectively."
