Re: June 20, 2023 Agenda Item 12.0 — Pier Concession License Agreement Extension Dear City Council:
I am writing to you today in support of granting an extension to Rib Line By The Beach, LLC to continue their operation of the Sunsets at the Pier concession stand. My family and I are citizens of Pismo Beach.
We frequent the pier regularly and bring all our family and friends who visit to enjoy the view, the water, the surfers, the wildlife, watch all the family's fish and then end our walk enjoying a beverage or meal at the Sunsets at the Pier Airstream. Their food is delicious, and the staff are super friendly. It would be a shame not to have this business on the pier. The pier is large and accommodates all who wish to fish, take a stroll and enjoy a beverage or wonderful food.
I've also had the privilege of enjoying a lovely evening with a private event with Rib Line donating the food for a Sunset at the Pier dinner. Brian and Krystal Appiano, owners of Rib Line are very supportive of non -profits and other local businesses in our community. They make an experience on the Pismo Beach Pier something to fondly remember.
Please consider extending the license agreement with Rib Line by the Beach, LLC so that residents and visitors may enjoy an overall wonderful experience on the Pismo Beach Pier.
