RESOLUTION NO. R-2023-060
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PISMO BEACH, CALIFORNIA DESIGNATING VOTING DELEGATES FOR THE 2023 LEAGUE OF
CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE
WHEREAS, the City of Pismo Beach wishes to participate in the 2023 League of California Cities (Cal Cities) Annual Conference by voting on Cal Cities policy resolutions at the Annual Business Meeting; and
WHEREAS, in order to do so, the City Council must designate a voting delegate and up to two alternate voting delegates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Pismo Beach hereby designates the following voting delegate and alternate for the 2023 League of California Cities Annual Conference, and directs the City Clerk or designee to file the information with the League of California Cities:
1. Voting Delegate, Primary: Ed Waage, Mayor
2. Voting Delegate, Alternate: Jorge Garcia, Interim City Manager UPON MOTION OF Council Member Newton, seconded by Council Member Inman, the foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Pismo Beach this 151h day of August 2023, by the following vote:
AYES: 5 Newton, Inman, Guthrie, Reiss, Waage
