Please consider purchasing a more environmentally-conscious vehicle than a 2024 Ford Expedition 4x4 which gets a pathetic 17 mpg. Why not invest in a green electric vehicle, or at least a hybrid? As leaders of a coastal city on the front lines of sea level rise due to climate change caused by the burning of fossil fuels, it's irresponsible to continue to contribute so flagrantly to the problem.
It's also unclear why such a large vehicle is needed for the stated purposes. Please make better choices.
