RESOLUTION NO. R-2023-075
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PISMO BEACH,
CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE REPLACEMENT FIRE DEPARTMENT ADMINISTRATION VEHICLE FD181 IN THE AMOUNT OF $64,653.13 IN FISCAL YEAR 2024
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2024 budget includes $75,000 for one 2024 Ford Expedition Max XL 4x4 vehicle, as replacement for a current Ford Expedition Max XL 4x4 Administration vehicle, FD181; and
WHEREAS, this vehicle is essential to the Fire Department for administrative services and will be utilized by the Fire Chief to monitor local fire activities; and WHEREAS, staff was able to find a 2024 Ford Expedition Max XL 4x4 vehicle under the National Auto Fleet Group cooperative government purchasing agreement #091521- NAF.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Pismo Beach hereby authorizes the purchase of one replacement Fire Department Administration vehicle, FD181, in the amount of $64,653.13 in Fiscal Year 2024 (quote provided as Exhibit A).
UPON MOTION OF Council Member Guthrie, seconded by Council Member Newton, the foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Pismo Beach this 171h day of October 2023, by the following vote:
