RESOLUTION NO. R-2023-082
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PISMO BEACH, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF RED CURB AND "NO PARKING" SIGNS ON INDIO DRIVE AND CORRESPONDING UPDATE TO THE
STRIPING ATLAS
WHEREAS, the south end of Indio Drive dead -ends at South Palisades Park; and WHEREAS, there is pedestrian access to the park on the ocean side of the street; and WHEREAS, there is a vehicular access path on the inland side of the road that is signed with "No Parking"; and
WHEREAS, cars have been found to park on the ocean side of the street or against the dead-end barricade, blocking access to the park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Pismo Beach hereby authorizes the installation of red curb and "No Parking" signs on Indio Drive, (as depicted in Exhibit A) and an update to the City's Curb and Striping Atlas to reflect the change.
UPON MOTION OF Council Member Newton, seconded by Council Member Inman, the foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Pismo Beach this 7th day of November 2023, by the following vote:
