A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PISMO BEACH,
CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF ONE BUS LOADING ZONE
SIGN ON BELLO STREET AT THE NORTHERN MOST EDGE OF THE LUCIA MAR
BUS STOP
WHEREAS, the Lucia Mar bus stop on Bello Street is located just north of the Veterans’ Hall driveway; and
WHEREAS, there is no current signage identifying the area as a bus stop; and
WHEREAS, if cars are parked in the bus area during drop-off and pick-up times, the bus must stop in traffic and children have to cross between parked cars to get to sidewalk.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Pismo Beach hereby authorizes the installation of one “Bus Loading Zone No Parking M–F, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Aug–June” sign on Bello Street at the northern most edge of the Lucia Mar bus stop.
UPON MOTION OF Council Member Inman, seconded by Council Member Guthrie, the foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Pismo Beach this 16th day of April 2024, by the following vote:
AYES: 5 Inman, Guthrie, Newton, Reiss, Waage
