Dear Mayor and Councilmembers,
At the January 21, 2025, council meeting you will be discussing and possibly voting on the SCSS Franchise agreement. As some of you are aware the Pismo Beach Senior Mobile Home Park has had several issues that have arisen regarding SCSS and the Franchise agreement that was agreed upon in 2020. I would like to advise you of the circumstances that we have had to deal with over the last several months. To accomplish this the policy of only allowing a person (3) minutes to speak on this item would be very difficult to do so. I am asking for some leniency in the time limit as in my opinion you will need to hear what our park has had to endure, and the way were treated by SCSS. Once you hear our story, I believe you will be shocked and surprised. With the information that will be given to you, we are praying that someone will monitor and place safeguards in place to protect all the citizens of Pismo Beach. Sending you a written document describing the Franchise agreement is not feasible as it would be very lengthy and confusing for you. I am sure you will have questions for both me and SCSS.
