Dear Members of the Pismo Beach City Council,
I am writing as a Shell Beach resident and most recently appointed board member of the Chapman Estate Foundation to express my strong support for preserving the Chapman Estate for community use. If the City decides to divest from the property, I urge you to transfer it to the Chapman Estate Foundation to ensure its long-term preservation and accessibility for residents and visitors alike.

The Chapman Estate is a treasured landmark that holds cultural, historical, and recreational significance for our community. Its unique character and stunning coastal setting make it an invaluable asset that should continue to serve the public. The Chapman Estate Foundation is committed to maintaining and enhancing the property for community benefit, ensuring that future generations can enjoy this irreplaceable piece of Pismo Beach's heritage.

I strongly encourage the Council to choose a course of action that maximizes the benefit to local residents and visitors. Keeping the Chapman Estate under the stewardship of a nonprofit dedicated to its preservation aligns with the City's long-standing commitment to enhancing public spaces and enriching the community experience.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I appreciate your leadership on this important matter to secure the estate's future for the public good.

Sincerely,
Monica Rejniak
Shell Beach Resident
Board Member, Chapman Estate Foundation
