Subject: Keeping the Chapman Estate accessible to the public Date: Thursday,February 13,2025 10:13:09 AM
As a neighbor to the Chapman Estate and resident of Shell Beach, I would like it to be accessible to the public and have management transferred to the Chapman Estate Foundation.

This would ensure proper stewardship and community benefit. In addition, the Estate aligns with Pismo Beach's goals of preserving coastal access, enhancing tourism and investing in community spaces. Moreover, The Chapman Estate is a community landmark that should remain open for public enjoyment. We love going there for annual events to meet other neighbors as well as sharing it with visitors who are in town. Not to mention, the City's own 2013 assessment recognized the estate's significance and recommended preservation efforts.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Christopher Archbold & Kerry McMahon
