Dear City Council,
The Chapman Estate is an icon in the Pismo Community, a valuable place for special events as well as quiet visits. It's a true favorite not only for those of us who enjoy it now, but for future residents and visitors.
Were the property to be transferred to the Chapman Estate Foundation, a 501(c)(3), this would remove costs from taxpayers while continuing to allow continued public access.
