TITLE:
Discussion of Proclamation Practices
RECOMMENDATION:
Receive an overview of current practices relating to Proclamations, and provide direction to staff if desired.
DISCUSSION:
On March 4, 2025, the City Council directed staff to return with an agenda item allowing the Council to receive more information about current practices for the issuance of Proclamations.
Staff will provide an overview of current practices, and the Council may give direction if desired.
Conclusion and Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Council give direction, if desired, on practices relating to the issuance of Proclamations.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with the issuance of Proclamations.
