Hello,
I am writing a public comment as the Grants Coordinator at the SLO Noor Foundation, a local non-profit that has requested Outside Agency Funding for the upcoming fiscal year.

I am writing to emphasize the SLO Noor Foundation's commitment to provide free and accessible healthcare services (including medical, dental, vision, and mental health care) to uninsured and underinsured Pismo Beach residents.

Our SLO Noor Free Mobile Clinic directly visits the Five Cities area on a bimonthly basis, as well as providing free healthcare services at our brick-and-mortar locations 4 days/week.

Annually, we directly serve approximately 200 Five Cities residents across 750 encounters; in 2024, the SLO Noor Free Health Clinics provided nearly 100 healthcare encounters and appointments to Pismo Beach residents, at no cost to the residents themselves. For this

work, the SLO Noor was recently honored as 2025 Nonprofit of the Year for District 30 (San Luis Obispo, Santa Cruz, and Monterey Counties), an award personally selected by California Assemblymember Dawn Addis.

Any awarded funding will directly fund patient services, including diagnostics, medical supplies, and equipment necessary to provide free healthcare to our Pismo Beach & Five Cities community members. If awarded the full $20,000, the SLO Noor would provide approximately $63,600 worth of services, a $1 to $13.18 return on investment as reported in the National Library of Medicine for the SLO Noor Foundation and its Free Health Clinics.

Thank you for your time and consideration; it is greatly appreciated! Kindly,
