I reviewed my email transmission from yesterday only to find out I had done something wrong and the email was not complete. Sorry - I 'll try again. Please see below.
The agenda item 9G, the proposed extension of the contract with Tom Jones Advertising, raised a few questions. The city's citizens should have a clear understanding of the proposed extension and its cost benefit.
1. How exactly does the city benefit from this expenditure?
2. Is the city's cost of this arrangement offset by related income to the city?
3. Related to #2 - has the city done a cost analysis?
4. Has the city investigated this issue with cities that want to promote and benefit from tourism, to see how they are handling the challenge?
5. Has the city reached out to other advertising agencies to obtain competitive proposals? Again, I'm sorry for the email communication confusion. I look forward to your response.
