Hi City Council,
I’m writing to say I fully support the Gateway Project going in at Bay and Dolliver. From what I’ve seen, it looks like a great fit for the community: well-designed housing, a few affordable units, some small commercial spaces, and most importantly, a public plaza that really welcomes people into downtown. That “Welcome to Pismo Beach” corner feature is going to be something locals can be proud of, and it’ll leave a great first impression for visitors too.
It’s not overbuilt, it keeps the Bay Street view corridor open, and it adds a much-needed sense of arrival when you enter town. I think it’ll end up being a real landmark for the area.
Appreciate all the work you do, and I hope this one moves forward.
Regards,
Eric Landrigan
