Dear City Council,
I respectfully ask that you vote in favor of the Gateway Pismo Project.
This project will bring much-needed vitality and housing to the area. Over the past 20 years, I have seen Pismo make great strides in revitalizing its downtown through both commercial and residential improvements. The Gateway Project aligns perfectly with these efforts and with the City’s long-term vision for our beloved Pismo Beach.
The entrance to the City deserves thoughtful attention, and the current dilapidated gas station has long been a blight that should be addressed. Projects of this quality are becoming increasingly difficult to finance, and the chance to secure one that delivers both amenities and housing may not come again.
Having a local builder invest in our community is an invaluable opportunity to support the local building industry while enhancing the future of Pismo Beach.
I hope you will recognize the many benefits of the Gateway Project and vote for its approval.
