Dear Members of the City Council,
I am writing in strong support of the Gateway Project. The applicant has truly listened to community input and made thoughtful adjustments to the design, height, and overall aesthetic.

The result is a project that is both beautiful and compatible with the character of downtown Pismo Beach.

Importantly, the project fully provides its own parking and even adds additional parking to support both residents and visitors. This responsible approach ensures it will not create added burden on surrounding businesses or neighborhoods.

As someone who operates hotels nearby, I know how important it is that the north entrance to Pismo Beach reflects the same warmth and beauty that defines our city. Right now, this site is underutilized and uninviting. The Gateway Project will transform it into a welcoming, vibrant entry point that our community can be proud of.

This project is exactly the kind of investment Pismo Beach needs to balance housing, local businesses, and thoughtful design. I encourage the Council to approve the Gateway Project and help bring this vision to life.
