Dear City Council,
I recommend that in Policy LU-13.1: Lateral Bluff-Top Access and Open Space you consider adding language that states the safety of the walkers on this path should be of utmost concern.

As a city we need to make sure of safety first. The second thought should also consider how much we have to impact the environment for adding walking paths.

I am mostly concerned with the proposed path from the Tides Motel to Franklin. There is a narrow area next to a steep drop off of a cliff that has some erosion issues that I have been told will be addressed. Then the walkers would end up on a narrow street with minimal parking available. It would be much safer for the path to go up the Tides parking lot.

Julie Cesare
owner of 321 Franklin
