Dear Members of the Pismo Beach City Council,
I am writing to respectfully request an update regarding the process for reopening the public access easement that was brought to the City Council's attention during a Council meeting in February2026.
At that meeting, the issue of the blocked public access easement on the Spyglass Inn property, from Shell Beach Road southwesterlyto the bluff, was raised for the Council's consideration.
Public access to established pathways is an important community issue, and I appreciate the City Council's attention to this matter. I understand that these issues can require coordination and review, but since several months have passed since the matter was brought before the Council, I would appreciate any information the City can provide regarding its progress, and what actions, if any, have been taken.
