Re: Item 12.B Renaming Palisades Park to Mary Ann Reiss Park (Garcia)
Dear City Council members:
I am writing in opposition to spending approximately
$15,000 to rename the Pallisades park. This comes
after money has just been spent to put new Park
signs up. Is there not another way to name another
park after someone rather than waste money
changing what’s already been replaced? In times of
already squeezed budgets it seems frivolous to
approve this request.
Please reconsider this approach and name another
new Park after Ms. Reiss.
