NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
VOTING DISTRICT BOUNDARIES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Placentia will hold a public hearing per Elections Code Section 21621 in the Council Chambers of Placentia City Hall, 401 East Chapman Avenue on the following date:
Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in which the Council will hold the second of a series of four (4) public hearings to receive public comments and input regarding the composition of potential Council election district boundaries based on 2020 U.S. Census data, as required by applicable law.
All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and express opinions or submit information.
The public hearings may be continued from time to time, as necessary, by giving notice at the aforementioned hearing.
Copies of the Staff Report for the second public hearing will be available for public inspection in the City Clerk's Office at the City of Placentia City Hall on and after Thursday, January 13, 2022 or by visiting the City's website at www.placentia.org . Information about district elections, why the City is making this change, and the process is available on the City website at www.placentia.org .
If a person wishes to challenge, in court, any action the City Council may take regarding the subject matter of the public hearing, then that person may be limited to raising only those issues raised at the public hearings on this subject or in written correspondence timely delivered to the City Clerk at, or prior to, the public hearing.

AVISO DE AUDIENCIA PIJBLICA
LIMITES DE LOS DISTRITOS DE VOTACION
POR MEDIO DEL PRESENTE SE COMUNICA que el Consejo Municipal de la ciudad de Placentia Ilevara a cabo una audiencia publica, de acuerdo con el articulo 21621 del Codigo de Elecciones, en las cameras del ayuntamiento de Placentia, en 401 East Chapman Avenue, en la siguiente fecha:
Miercoles 19 de enero de 2022, a las 7:00 p.m., o apenas se pueda tratar el tema a partir de esa fecha. En esta audiencia, el ayuntamiento Ilevara a cabo Ia primera de una Serie de cuatro (4) audiencias publicas para recibir comentarios y aportes del publico sobre la composicion de los posibles limites de los distritos electorales del ayuntamiento, de acuerdo con los datos del censo de Estados Unidos de 2020, segun exige Ia ley vigente.
Se invita a todos los interesados a asistir a la audiencia pCiblica y expresar sus opiniones o presentar informacion. Las audiencias publicas podrian continuarse ocasionalmente, segun sea necesario, mediante notificacidn en la audiencia antes mencionada.
Habra copias del documento Informe del personal para la primera audiencia publica disponibles para que el publico pueda inspeccionarlo en la secretaria municipal en la municipalidad de Placentia a partir del jueves 13 de enero de 2022 o en el sitio web de la Ciudad, www.placentia.org . Si tiene alguna pregunta, Ilame a la secretaria municipal al 714-993-8231.
En el sitio web de la Ciudad, www.placentia.org , encontrara informacion sobre las elecciones del distrito, por quo la Ciudad esta Ilevando a cabo este cambio, y sobre el proceso.
Si una persona desea impugnar en un tribunal una medida tomada por el Consejo Municipal sobre el tema de Ia audiencia publica, la persona estara Iimitada a abordar unicamente los temas tratados en las audiencias publicas o en correspondencia por escrito entregada en tiempo y forma a la secretaria municipal antes de la audiencia publica o durante ella.
