RE: Cooperative Agreement — City of Anaheim 2021-2022 Annual Pavement Rehabilitation Project Cost Sharing with the City of Placentia Dear Carlos:
This letter serves as a cooperative agreement between the City of Placentia and the City of Anaheim in regards to the pavement rehabilitation at various locations where the two Cities share Right-of-way along portions of certain streets.
The City of Placentia is the lead agency for the construction of this project to rehabilitate the pavement at various locations. Two Cities share street pavement at 3 locations, namely: Jefferson Street, Van Buren Street and Richfield Rd. Improvements at these locations include: Type II Slurry Seal, Cold Milling of existing Asphalt Concrete pavement, 2" Asphalt -Rubber Hot Mix overlay, Sidewalk Replacement, Curb & Gutter Replacement, Adjusting Utilities and Manholes to Grade, Signing and Striping.
The total construction cost for Anaheim's share of the project is estimated to be $332,000.
This estimate is based on the engineers estimate of the probable construction cost, provided to us by the project design team. The final cost shall be based on the actual bid received by the City of Placentia and the final construction contract costs.
Upon completion of the project to both of the Cities' satisfactions, the City of Placentia will provide the City of Anaheim with an invoice for the shared cost of the improvements. The City of Anaheim shall provide payment of the shared cost within forty-five (45) days after receipt of the invoice.
