SUMMARY:
The City has received email correspondence indicating the resignation from the Senior Advisory Committee from Mr. Huberto Mayo. This action accepts the above indicated resignation and extends the City's sincere appreciation for Mr. Mayo's service to the community.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:
1. Accept the resignation of Huberto Mayo from the Senior Advisory Committee and;
2. Update the City's master Commission/Committee vacancy list to include the vacancy on the Senior Advisory Committee
STRATEGIC PLANNING STATEMENT:
There is no specific strategic planning goal or objective associated with this agenda item.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. Mayo has served on the Senior Advisory Committee since January 2015. The City received an email correspondence from Mr. Mayo on March 13, 2023, indicating his resignation from the Commission effective immediately. Appointment to this vacancy is anticipated to be made as part of the City's Commission/Committee application/recruitment process.
