Dear Mayor Taylor, Vice-Mayor Saragosa and Councilmembers Borelli, Neau, and Thomas:
I am writing to you in support of the application by Ms. Catherine Silvester to be a Public Member of the Cannabis Business Community Benefits Program Committee.
It has been my pleasure to know Ms. Silvester for over 5 years. We met through mutual acquaintances and we also worked in the same discipline of environmental consulting.
Ms. Silvester is intelligent, amiable, and hard working. Through her professional experience, both as an employee and now as a sole proprietor of her own business here in Placerville, she learned the value of preparation and collaboration.
She is an attentive listener who quickly grasps ideas and has wonderful communication skills.
In addition to being a successful entrepreneur, Ms. Silvester has chosen our City to call home and in which to raise her family. Now, she has decided to start giving back to her community through volunteer work.
Please give her application serious consideration. I think you will agree that she is an asset for our town and will always work in our best interests.
