1. CALL TO ORDER & PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
The meeting was called to order at 4:02 p.m. and The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited.
2. ROLL CALL: Present: Clerici, Gotberg, Neau, Saragosa, Yarbrough
3. ANNOUNCEMENTS/PRESENTATIONS TO THE PUBLIC
No announcements/presentations to the public were made.
4. ADOPTION OF AGENDA
It was moved by Vice-Mayor Neau and seconded by Councilmember Yarbrough that the City Council adopt the agenda as presented. The motion passed by the following roll-call vote:
AYES: Clerici, Gotberg, Neau, Saragosa, Yarbrough
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
5. DISCUSSION ITEMS
5.1 Adopt a Resolution Proclaiming a State of Emergency in the City and Authorizing Teleconference Meetings of City Legislative Bodies Pursuant to The Brown Act Government Code Section 54953(E) (Mr.
Morris)

The City Manager explained the report and responded to Council questions. Public comments were received from Leo Bennett-Cauchon.
Following Council discussion, it was moved by Vice-Mayor Neau and seconded by Councilmember Gotberg that the City Council adopt a resolution proclaiming a State of Emergency in the City of Placerville and authorizing teleconference meetings of City legislative bodies pursuant to The Brown Act Government Code Section 54953(e).
The motion was passed by the following vote:
AYES: Clerici, Gotberg, Neau, Saragosa, Yarbrough
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

The next regularly scheduled Council meeting will be held on February 28, 2023, 4:30 P.M. Closed Session, 5:00 P.M. Regular Meeting.
