1. CALL TO ORDER & PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m. and The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited.
2. ROLL CALL: Present: Clerici, Gotberg, Neau, Saragosa, Yarbrough
3. ADOPTION OF AGENDA
It was moved by Councilmember Clerici and seconded by Councilmember Gotberg that the City Council adopt the agenda as presented. The motion passed unanimously.
4. CEREMONIAL MATTERS
4.1 Proclamation Declaring the Week of May 9 -20, 2023, National Police Week and May 15, 2023, Peace Officers’ Memorial Day in the City of Placerville (Mayor Saragosa)
The Mayor read the proclamation and presented it to Chief Wren. Public comment was received from Sue Rodman.
5. ANNOUNCEMENTS/PRESENTATIONS TO THE PUBLIC
No announcements/presentations were made.
6. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS
2023/2024 Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program Budget Review and Discussion
Public comments were received from Sue Rodman, Kathi Lishman, and Terry Lemoncheck. This Budget Workshop was for informational purposes only. No action was taken on any item at this Workshop. Additional budgetary information was presented during the meeting.
