Dear City Council,
I am a resident of Coloma in El Dorado County. I do a majority of my grocery shopping, banking and dining in Placerville and have thoroughly enjoyed my visits to the the Switchboard Gallery. When I go to the exhibits there, I usually always take the opportunity to have a meal and walk the storefronts there in downtown Placerville.
Besides the obvious draw to your city, the Switchboard Gallery elevates culture and art in our county and is a source of pride for me to share with out of town friends visiting me. The artists represented in the exhibits deserve to have a space to share their work and it would be a travesty to discontinue the lease.
