A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH PAKPOUR CONSULTING GROUP, INC. FOR INSPECTION
SERVICES FOR THE GREGORY GARDENS STORM DRAIN REHABILITATION PROJECT NO. 03-21
WHEREAS, the Gregory Gardens Storm Drain Rehabilitation Project is identified in the approved Capital Improvement Plan FY2020-2025; and
WHEREAS, the Gregory Gardens Storm Drain Rehabilitation Project provides for the installation of approximately 700 linear feet of new storm drain pipeline in the Gregory Gardens neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved $1.5 million in American Rescue Plan Act funds to construct the project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant Hill desires to utilize the professional services of Pakpour Consulting Group, Inc. for construction inspection services for the Gregory Gardens Storm Drain Rehabilitation Project; and
WHEREAS, Pakpour Consulting Group, Inc. has submitted a proposal to the Maintenance Division which is determined to be complete and acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill as follows:
1. Authorizes the City Manager to execute the attached Professional Services Agreement with Pakpour Consulting Group, Inc. for construction inspection services for the Gregory Gardens Storm Drain Rehabilitation Project in an amount not to exceed $80,850.00.
2. Authorizes a ten percent (10%) Professional Services contingency in the amount of $8,085.00.
