SUBJECT: ADOPT ORDINANCE NO. ___ ADOPTING AMENDMENTS RELATED
TO THE CITYWIDE RESIDENTIAL OBJECTIVE DESIGN STANDARDS
SYNOPSIS
The proposed ordinance is to amend various sections of the City’s Zoning Ordinance (Pleasant Hill Municipal Code (PHMC) Title 18) related to the implementation of City Wide Residential Objective Design Standards. The proposed ordinance includes amendments necessary to reference City Wide Residential Objective Design Standards that were previously adopted by the City Council as part of the modified City Wide Design Guidelines. The proposed ordinance was introduced at a public hearing held on March 21, 2022, and is now submitted for a second reading and consideration for adoption.

Public contact was made through posting of the City Council agenda on the City’s official notice bulletin board, at the Pleasant Hill Senior Center and at the Pleasant Hill Police Department. The agenda and staff report are posted on the City’s web page.
