Re: Pleasant Hill Library, Project No. 06-20 – Change Order #010 Dear Mr. Renne:
Per the General Conditions, Article 44, Changes and Extra Work, of our Contract Agreement, “The City, without invalidating the Contract, may order changes in the Work consisting of additions, deletions or other revisions, and the Contract Price and Contract Time shall be adjusted accordingly.” This change order includes all labor, materials, and equipment costs in the total amount of $743,616.00 to complete the following work:
1. The City approved proposal from the Contractor, BHM to incorporate cost associated with additional scope of work to support installation Tesla solar power system. The Contractor has agreed to perform this work at the agreed total itemized price of $117,246.00.
2. The City approved proposal from the Contractor, BHM to incorporate cost associated with procurement and installation of low voltage systems which includes video surveillance, intrusion detection, access control, assisted listening, audiovisual video conference, and public address systems. The Contractor has agreed to perform this work at the agreed total itemized price of $294,524.00.
3. The City approved proposal from the Contractor, BHM to incorporate cost associated with additional scope for agency requirements for utility connections and tie-ins during the site improvement phase of the library project. The Contractor has agreed to perform this work at the agreed total itemized price of $106,544.00.
4. The City approved proposal from the Contractor, BHM to incorporate cost associated with additional scope required to purchase, store and install the tall shelving system in the main reading room. The Contractor has agreed to perform this work at the agreed total itemized price of $125,302.00.
5. The City approved proposal from the Contractor, BHM to incorporate cost associated with additional scope required to coordinate installation of sculptural logs in the activity yard.
The Contractor has agreed to perform this work at the agreed total itemized price not to exceed $100,000.00.

6. The Contract shall be modified to allow for additional working days To Be Determined upon agreement between BHM and the City.
The consideration specified in this Change Order is the full and sole compensation owed to the contractor as a result of the changes and issues described in this Change Order. Such consideration includes, but is not limited to, any and all direct and indirect costs incurred by the contractor as a result of the changes and issues described in this Change Order for any labor, equipment, materials, overhead (additional, extended, field and home office), profit, or time adjustments. By signing this Change Order, the contractor waives and releases the owner from all claims for additional compensation concerning any of the changes and issues specified in this Change Order.
