RESOLUTION NO. -22
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL ESTABLISHING THE PROPOSITION 4 APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XIIIB OF THE CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022/2023 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant Hill is required to establish the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit pursuant to Article XIIIB of the California Constitution for fiscal year 21/22; and
WHEREAS, the population of Contra Costa County declined 0.41% in 2022 and the State per capita personal income grew 7.55%; and
WHEREAS, the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit for fiscal year 21/22 was calculated to be $33,649,387; and
WHEREAS, the fiscal year 22/23 revenues that represent the proceeds from taxes covered by the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit are projected to be $6,451,784 below the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill that, that the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit for fiscal year 22/23 is $36,041,538.
