CAMBRIA HOTEL PROJECT – AMENDMENT TO DEVELOPMENT PLAN &
ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW PERMIT

3131 & 3195 NORTH MAIN STREET & 1531 OAK PARK BOULEVARD NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City of Pleasant Hill that the City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider an amendment to the previously approved Development Plan & Architectural Review Permits (PLN 18-0198) that was approved by the City Council, for a proposed Cambria Hotel and associated site improvements, (applicant:
Stratus Development Partners), which included a General Plan Amendment, Planned Unit Development (Rezoning) Concept Plan, Development Plan Permit, Architectural Review Permit, including adjustments to development standards and certification of an Environmental Impact Report. The site, located at 3131 & 3195 North Main Street and 1531 Oak Park Boulevard (Assessor Parcel Numbers 170-092-050, 054, 055, 057, 058, 059) and project is for a proposed three and four-story 155-room hotel (approximate 49 foot tall building with architectural features up to 59 feet tall) and associated parking, landscaping, and amenities on an approximately 2.5-acre site. The amendment would not include any changes to the proposed project, except a request to modify a proposed public benefit of the project for undergrounding of off-site utilities along North Main Street and modify the contribution to artwork, with an in-lieu public benefit financial contribution to the City.
Pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15080, a Draft Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the project by the lead agency (City of Pleasant Hill), and circulated for public review between April 17, 2019 and May 31, 2019.
The certified Final Environmental Impact Report and other related project information is available for review at the Planning Division counter, City of Pleasant Hill, City Hall (100 Gregory Lane) and may also be viewed on the City’s website at www.pleasanthillca.org.
THE PUBLIC HEARING will be held by the City Council starting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2022. Please check the City’s website or posted agenda for information regarding whether the hearing will be held virtually and/or at City Hall at 100 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill, CA. More information on how to participate, including providing live comments during the meeting, will be provided on the posted City Council meeting agenda..
