FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
WITH LCC ENGINEERING AND SURVEYING, INC. FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE FY 2018/2020 MEASURE K PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE
PROGRAM
This First Amendment to the Agreement for Professional Services for the 2018/2020 Measure K Pedestrian and Bicycle Program (Project) is entered into as of __________________, 2022 between the City of Pleasant Hill (City), LCC Engineering, and Surveying, Inc. (Consultant).
WHEREAS, City and Consultant entered into an Agreement for Professional Services (Agreement) on June 10, 2019; and
WHEREAS, Engineering design of the roadway improvements included in the original scope of work is now substantially complete; and WHEREAS, City and Consultant now wish to amend the Agreement to increase the scope of work and compensation.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:
1. Section 1, Scope of Services is amended to add the following new additional services to the original Agreement which was executed on June 10, 2019:
Consultant shall perform the additional services described on Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Consultant shall provide said services at the time, place, and in the manner specified in Exhibit A, subject to the direction of the City through its staff that it may provide from time to time.
2. Section 3, Compensation is amended to add the following additional compensation above the amount of $212,300 that was included with the original Agreement which was executed on June 10, 2019:
Additional compensation for added Services. Additional funds are authorized in the amount of $60,000.00 for the additional services to perform engineering and surveying, in accordance with the cost proposal set forth in Exhibit A, which is incorporated herein by reference.
3. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. [Signatures on Following Page]
