RESOLUTION NO. ___-22
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH PARK ENGINEERING FOR CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION AND MATERIALS TESTING SERVICES FOR THE 2022 STREET RESURFACING PROJECT NO. PSC-01-22
WHEREAS, the 2022 Street Resurfacing Project is identified in the FY 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) as a desired and funded project; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to construct the 2022 Street Resurfacing Project, which provides for a pavement resurfacing treatment (asphalt concrete overlay) of selected streets within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant Hill desires to utilize the professional services of Park Engineering, for construction inspection and materials testing services for the 2022 Street Resurfacing Project No. PSC-01-22; and
WHEREAS, Park Engineering has submitted a proposal to the Maintenance Division, which is complete and acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill:
1. Authorizes the City Manager to execute a Professional Services Agreement with Park Engineering for construction inspection and materials testing services for the 2022 Street Resurfacing Project No. PSC-01-22 in an amount not to exceed $35,000.
2. Authorizes a Professional Design Services contingency in the amount of $5,000.
