RESOLUTION NO. ___-22
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND THE CLASSIFICATION CITY
CLERK/RECORDER TO CLERK RECORDER AND PROVIDE A RATE CHANGE WHEREAS, the City seeks to provide clarity in roles and responsibilities; and WHEREAS, the City currently has two classifications with “City Clerk” in the title; and WHEREAS, the classification of City Clerk/Recorder has not had a rate change in six years; and
WHEREAS, the City has sufficient capacity in the General Fund to support a five dollar per hour increase in the rate of pay;
WHEREAS, the rate change is reflected in Exhibit 1, Unrepresented Hourly Salary Schedule attached hereto; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill that the City Council does hereby authorize the City Manager to amend the title of City Clerk/Recorder to Clerk Recorder, increase the pay rate by five dollars per hour using appropriate funding from the General Fund, and amend the salary schedule accordingly.
