Re: Additional Scope and Fee – Final Adoption Support for Pleasant Hill Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan This provides a scope and fee estimate for final adoption support for the Pleasant Hill Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan.
Work Tasks
Document Revisions and Formatting
Alta will update the current Sept 13 2022 version of the master plan to reflect City staff comments. This includes:
• Update all maps to reflect new base map and title block • Linework changes
• Update graphics as noted in city comments
• Update text as noted in city comment provided 10-4-22 and discussed with staff 10-5-22 • Update key data including Collisions, Census, and other demographic information needed with most available data • Format and copy edit document in MS Word
• Create new document cover
Prepare Presentation Summarizing Plan
Alta will prepare a Powerpoint presentation providing a summary overview of the plan process, and of the key recommendations of the Final Draft Plan. This same presentation will be used for both TSC, PC, and Council. As the plan has been on pause for approximately 2 years since it was last presented in public at the Traffic Safety Commission (Sept 2020), Alta will include key points about the public input process that occurred in 2020. This is to ensure that the public understands that document has already underdone multiple rounds of review by Traffic Safety Commission as well as a full public review.
Commission and Council Meeting Attendance
An Alta representative will attend the Traffic Safety Committee on 9/27/22 (virtual) to present and answer questions.
An Alta representative will attend Planning Commission (virtual, date TBD) to present and answer questions.

Fee
Alta will complete this scope on a Time and Materials basis for a not-to-exceed fee of $18,000. We will bill staff time at standard rates shown on the attached Rate Schedule.
Schedule
We understand time is of the essence and will seek to complete document and map revisions by October 31, 2022. Our ability to meet this schedule assumes all city map comments are provided no later than October 7, 2022, text and figure comments are delivered no later than October 14, 2022, and that we have Notice to Proceed by October 10, 2022..

Subconsultants and reimbursable expenses will be charged at cost + 10% markup.
Mileage will be charged at the provisional standard rate.
