FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR DESIGN PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WITH ALTA PLANNING + DESIGN, INC. FOR
BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN MASTER PLAN, PROJECT NO. 03-20
This First Amendment to the Agreement for Design Professional Services for the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan Project No. 03-20 is entered into as of ___________, 2022 between the City of Pleasant Hill (“City”) and Alta Planning + Design, Inc. (“Consultant”).
RECITALS
A. Consultant is specially trained, experienced, and competent to perform the special services which will be required by this Agreement; and
B. Consultant possess the skill, experience, ability, background, certification, and knowledge to provide the services described in this Agreement on the terms and conditions described herein.
AGREEMENT
1. Scope of Services. The scope of services is amended to add the following additional services to the Agreement dated February 13, 2020:
Consultant shall perform the Work Tasks described on the Consultant proposal set forth in Exhibit B, which is incorporated herein by reference. Consultant shall provide said services at the time, place, and in the manner specified in Exhibit B, subject to the direction of the City through its staff that it may provide from time to time.
2. Time of Performance. The services of the Consultant are to commence upon execution of this Agreement and shall continue until all authorized work is approved by the City. All such work shall be completed no later than June 30, 2023.
3. Budget. The project budget is amended to add an additional amount of $21,600 over the original amount of $57,200 per the Agreement dated February 13, 2020:
Additional funds are authorized for $21,600 for the additional services in accordance with the Consultant proposal set forth in Exhibit B, which is incorporated herein by reference. Funds are available for the project budget in the FY 2022-23 Traffic Calming Improvement Program (IP-1), Account No. 12-5310 (531) that was approved by City Council in July 2022 as shown in Exhibit D to support this expenditure.
4. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. [Signatures on Following Page]
