NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE PLEASANT HILL MUNICIPALCODE
REPEALING SECTION 18.50.170 “ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING
STATIONS,”AND ADDING A NEW CHAPTER 14.75 “ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING SYSTEMS; STREAMLINED PERMITTING,” RELATING TO
AN EXPEDITED, STREAMLINED PERMITTING PROCESS FOR
ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City of Pleasant Hill that the City Council, will hold a public hearing to repeal section 18.50.170 “Electric Vehicle Charging Stations,” of Title 18 Planning and Land Use, and adding a new Chapter 14.75 “Electric Vehicle Charging Systems; Streamlined Permitting,” to the Pleasant Hill Municipal Code, relating to an expedited, streamlined permitting process for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations.
Pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the Guidelines for the Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), as amended, the lead agency has determined that the proposed activity is exempt from environmental review. The City as the lead agency has determined with certainty that the proposed adoption will not have a significant effect on the environment.
The City Council will hold a public hearing starting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 5, 2022, in the City Council chambers, 100 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill. Interested persons will be heard at that time.
NOTICEIS ALSO GIVEN pursuantto Government Code Section 65009(B) that, if this matter is subsequently challenged in Court by you or others, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else has raised at a Public Hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Pleasant Hill at, or prior to, the Public Hearing.
Copies of the primary and secondary codes being considered for adoption are on file with the City Clerk and are open to public inspection.
