RESOLUTION NO. -23
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH RSG, INC. FOR FINANCIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING SUCCESSOR AGENCIES
WHEREAS, the City’s current professional services agreement with RSG, Inc. for financial analysis related to the Pleasant Hill Redevelopment Successor Agency (“RSA”) and the Pleasant Hill Housing Successor Agency (“HSA”) ends on June 30, 2023; and WHEREAS, RSG continues to successfully and satisfactorily support staff and submitted a proposal to continue to provide financial analysis, reporting, and administrative support to the RSA and HSA for three fiscal years, 2023/24 through 2025/26, at a cost not to exceed $180,000 for the three-year term as described in the attached agreement; and WHEREAS, the City as Successor Agency receives $250,000 of property tax annually from the Contra Costa County Auditor-Controller and California Department of Finance to cover the Successor Agency’s administrative expenses, such as staff time and professional services agreements and funding is also available in the Low and Moderate Income Housing Asset Fund for housing-related work.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill that, the City Manager is authorized to execute the attached three-year professional services agreement with RSG, Inc. for a total cost not to exceed $180,000.
