Re: Additional Scope and Fee – Final Adoption Support for Pleasant Hill Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan This provides a scope and fee estimate for final adoption support for the Pleasant Hill Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan.
Work Tasks
Add Study Corridor Designation to Recommended Network
Adjust figures 5-1 and 6-1 to show Study Corridor overlay to the follow roadways:
- Taylor Blvd
- Gregory Ln/Grayson Rd
- Oak Park Blvd
- Geary Rd
- Contra Costa Blvd
- Morello Ave
- Monument Blvd
- Buskirk Ave
Include narrative paragraph in Chapters 5 and 6 describing intent of study corridor designation, need for additional corridor specific outreach and analysis including vehicular, transit and parking operations prior to finalizing any design.
Additional Safe Routes to School Discussion
Expand section 8.2.1 regarding Safe Routes to School. Edits will include additional discussion of how treatments such as Class IIIB on select streets can help support SR2S solutions. Include a sample Walk n Roll Map of a street and include discussion on how the suggested routes align with the proposed network. Recommendation will note the need for subsequent Intersection Improvement Maps to expand BPMP implementation
General Plan Goals & Objectives
Update Chapter 2 to align with updated General Plan initiatives following the bullet points provided by city Community Engagement
An Alta representative will up to three (3) additional in-person outreach meetings. Includes travel and meeting time as well as preparation time for presentational materials.

With the city’s approval and direction Alta will revise maps and narrative based on comments received during additional outreach, up to our time & materials budget limit.
Fee
Alta will complete this scope on a Time and Materials basis for a not-to-exceed fee of $10,000. We will bill staff time at standard rates shown on the attached Rate Schedule.
