ANNUAL UPDATE OF MASTER FEE SCHEDULE
CITYWIDE, CITY OF PLEASANT HILL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City of Pleasant Hill that the City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider approving an annual consumer price index (CPI) increase and other revisions and clarifications for City service fees set forth in the City’s Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Master Fee Schedule. The proposed CPI increase this fiscal year is
5.3 percent. On May 20, 2003 City Council Resolution #51-03 was adopted to adjust the City’s Master Fee Schedule and to allow fees to increase annually, for each succeeding July 1 st, by the annual percentage difference in the CPI as of March 1st for all urban consumers for the San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose metropolitan area. By law, user fees may not exceed the reasonable cost of service for which they are collected.
THE PUBLIC HEARING will be held by the City Council with a start time of 7:00 P.M. on June 26, 2023 in the City Council Chambers, 100 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill and remotely via Zoom in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act. Interested persons will be heard at this time.

NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN pursuant to Government Code Section 65009(b) that, if this matter is subsequently challenged in Court by you or others, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else has raised at the Public Hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Pleasant Hill at, or prior to, the Public Hearing.
