RESOLUTION NO. -23
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL
APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH AMERICAN GUARD SERVICES FOR THE PROVISION OF CROSSING GUARD SERVICES FOR THE 2023- 2024 SCHOOL YEAR
WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant Hill provides for school crossing guards for the safety of children going to and from schools; and
WHEREAS, proposals were solicited to provide crossing guard services for the City of Pleasant Hill for the 2023-2024 school year; and
WHEREAS, a proposal was received from All City Management Services; and WHEREAS, All City Management Services has provided a proposal that meets the criteria of the needed services;
WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant Hill wishes to contract with All City Management Services to provide crossing guard services for an amount not to exceed $165,192 for the 2023 – 2024 school year;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill that authorization is granted to the City Manager to enter into an Agreement for Professional Services with All City Management Services attached hereto as Exhibit 1.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that up to $165,192 is to be appropriated and transferred from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF), to reimburse the City for crossing guard services.
