A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH FIRST CARBON SOLUTIONS, INC., FOR ENVIRONMENTAL
COMPLIANCE MONITORING FOR THE APPROVED LIBRARY PROJECT (PART OF THE
OAK PARK PROPERTIES SPECIFIC PLAN)
WHEREAS, The City of Pleasant Hill Oak Park Properties Specific Plan is a comprehensive planning document that establishes specific guiding principles for redevelopment of 16.60 acres of land across various properties within the Specific Plan area. The Specific Plan outlines two development projects (the Civic Project and the Residential Project). The Library project is a portion of the Civic Project located along and east of Monticello Avenue within the Specific Plan area. The City of Pleasant Hill approved the Specific Plan’s Environmental Report (EIR) and corresponding Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program (MMRP). The Civic Project is required to demonstrate compliance with Mitigation Measure (MM) GHG-1; and.
WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant Hill desires to utilize the professional services of First Carbon Solutions for environmental compliance monitoring for the approved Library Project (part of the Oak Park Properties Specific Plan); and
WHEREAS, First Carbon Solutions Inc. has submitted a proposal to the City of Pleasant Hill which is complete and acceptable.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a Professional Services Agreement with First Carbon Solutions, Inc., attached as Exhibit 1, for environmental compliance monitoring for the approved Library Project (part of the Oak Park Properties Specific Plan) in the amount of $58,900.
