RESOLUTION NO. -23
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL ACCEPTING THE DIABLO VISTA WATER SYSTEM 12” MAIN REHABILITATION PHASE II PROJECT NO. PSC-02-22 AS COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC
WORKS MANAGER TO ISSUE AND RECORD A NOTICE OF COMPLETION WHEREAS, the Diablo Vista Water System 12” Main Rehabilitation Project No. PSC-02- 22 was identified in the approved FY 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan as a funded project; and
WHEREAS, the Diablo Vista Water System 12” Main Rehabilitation Project No. PSC-02- 22 provides for rehabilitation of 875 linear feet of 12” main located within the Contra Costa Canal (United States Bureau of Reclamation (USBR)) right-of-way, on Stevenson Drive, and between Oakvue Road and Roberta Avenue, to improve water service reliability and continued operations of the existing Diablo Vista Water System; and
WHEREAS, on December 5, 2022, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 105-22, which awarded the construction contract to Paulson Cox Construction, Inc.; and WHEREAS, all project work has been performed on time to the satisfaction of the City, and Paulson Cox Construction, Inc. is requesting final payment for the completed work; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill finds that the work performed as the Diablo Vista Water System 12” Main Rehabilitation Project No. PSC-02-22 is complete to the satisfaction of the City and is hereby accepted as complete.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Public Works Manager is authorized to execute a Notice of Completion and record it with the Office of the Recorder of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, within ten (10) days from the date thereof.
