SUBJECT: ADOPT ORDINANCE NO. ___ AMENDING PLEASANT HILL MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 18.20.095, ACCESSORY DWELLING
UNITS
SYNOPSIS
An amendment to the existing Accessory Dwelling Unit Ordinance, Section 18.20.095 of the Pleasant Hill Municipal Code, is proposed that will modify existing provisions that were originally implemented as part of an urgency ordinance adopted by the City Council in December 2022 in response to State legislation that was signed into law that year. The proposed ordinance was introduced at a public hearing held on October 2, 2023, and is now submitted for a second reading and consideration for adoption.
RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION
Adopt the Ordinance.
