AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL
ADJUSTING CITY COUNCIL COMPENSATION

The City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to California Government Code §§ 36516 and 36516.5, Pleasant Hill Municipal Code 2.05.030 and the population figures in the April 1, 2020 U.S Census, the City Council hereby adjusts Council member compensation.
Section 2. Effective upon a council member taking the oath of office in December 2024, the salary for City Council members, with any allowable adjustments, shall be $950 per month.
Section 3. The compensation amounts set forth herein are in addition to any reimbursements paid to Council members for actual and necessary expenses.
Section 4. Effective upon a council member taking the oath of office in December 2024, Ordinance Nos. 713, 154, 301, 656 and all conflicting ordinances are repealed.
Section 5. Within fifteen days after the passage of this Ordinance, the City Clerk shall cause it to be posted in the three places designated by resolution of the City Council.
The foregoing ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill held on the 1st day of April, 2024.
