RESOLUTION NO. -24
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL ESTABLISHING THE PROPOSITION 4 APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XIII B OF THE CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024/2025 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant Hill is required to establish the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit pursuant to Article XIII B of the California Constitution for Fiscal Year 2024/2025; and
WHEREAS, the population of Contra Costa County grew 0.12% in 2023 and the State per capita personal income grew 3.62%; and
WHEREAS, the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit for Fiscal Year 2023/2024 was calculated to be $37,506,272; and
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2024/2025 revenues that represent the proceeds from taxes covered by the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit are projected to be $7,657,700 below the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill that, that the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit for Fiscal Year 2024/2025 is $38,910,636.
